B-D-R District #1 Fire Department is located in the center portion of Crawford County in Western Arkansas. It is a all volunteer fire department with three fire stations located in the communities of Bond Special, Dean Springs, and Rudy. We average around 75 fire personnel in our department and respond to uncontrolled fires and emergency medical calls. We have developed a water hauling shuttle operation with large tankers and have a ISO class rating of a Class 6 which came into effect July 1, 2001.
